TARA Field Day 2024

The following are comments from attendees and organizers of the Tonto Amateur Radio Association (TARA) Field Day event for 2024 that was held on June 22, 2024 at the Ponderosa Bible Church in Payson, AZ.

What a great turn-out and event. A huge Thank You to all who participated or dropped by. Special thanks are due for Steve (K7OFG), Rick (KJ7ROX), Ron (K9PAZ) for organizing all this. Thanks to Mark (K9ZG) for jumping in to make sure the VE Session was a success when Woody (KJ7YYI) had to suddenly leave town right in the middle of planning.  And thanks to Bruce and the whole team that made the pot-luck BBQ a success. We even had PIZZA!

At the VE Session we had 7 Testers and 2 of them upgraded to EXTRA and 2 became new hams with Technician Licenses. CONGRATULATIONS!
