At the August 2024 monthly TARA meeting, Pat McDonald (KD6PZB) did a presentation about the ALLSTAR Network. The extremely well received presentation included a demonstration using a VHF FM Transceiver to connect, via his ALLSTAR Node at his home, to a station in Tuscon Arizona. The Tuscon operator then proceeded to connect with ALLSTAR users in New York, Texas, and other locations. The audio quality was uniquely amazing with each station full quieting and loud and clear.
