WELCOME!

The Tonto Amateur Radio Association (TARA) is a group of local Amateur Radio Operators (HAMs) that are dedicated to the enjoyment, growth and advocacy of access to the radio spectrum as well as service to our community through education and emergency communication efforts.

Guests are always welcome at club meetings. If you are interested in Amateur Radio, are a GMRS Operator, want to know how to become an FCC Licensed HF, VHF or UHF operator, then we would love to meet you. We can show you how to get a license, what type of radios and antennas you will need to match your interests,  and pretty much anything else you would like to know.
